Church and Discipleship Ministry

A voice called Ronald in a vision at night while at high school in Wairaka College saying “Read John 3:3”. With no knowledge about the bible Ronald went to his friend Sam and other college friends explaining the strange voice he received at night. Narrating the story he said; after receiving the voice he sat on his bed wondering the strange voice and message.

In a group of students Sam read the message in a loud voice saying “In reply Jesus declared, I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again”. This was the start of u-turn in Ronald’s life born in a family of humble background, on May 23, 1987 while at Makerere University, he accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and savior.

With no knowledge about the bible Ronald met Mr. Timothy Mooney one afternoon on one of the roads at the University who welcomed him to one of the Navigator Discipleship Bible Study Class.

After the discipleship class Ronald responded to the call of Jesus Christ “Then Jesus Christ them and said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey every thing I have commanded you.

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age”. Responding to the call Ronald Agatha after marriage embarked on the Discipleship Ministry. Consequently the couple has carried out discipleship campaigns in schools including Nabumali High School, Masaba Secondary School and Bukedi Colege Kachonga among others.

In tertiary institutions the couple started discipleship programs in School of Hygiene, Mbale and School of Clinical Officers Mbale. Starting to disciple one student Emily from the School of Hygiene in 2001, a Church was opened at the School of Hygiene in 2001.
